On Wednesday morning, Mike called me to tell me our home was on fire. It burned to the ground in an hour! I am so thankful today for so many things. Mike and I are fine. One cat, Honey, is fine but scared, and we are praying Storm will be found safe once things quiet down. For now, we can use your prayers. We had no insurance. We still have a shop, cabin, and greenhouse, all unharmed. We are still processing what we will need or when we may need to take off work to rebuild. Mike was barefoot in the snow for an hour and is nursing sore feet. All of your thoughts and prayers are a blessing. The excellent Homer Fire Department and Kachemak Emergency Services were amazing!

Any funds raised will go toward replacing things we have lost, day-to-day expenses, and rebuilding costs. We had no insurance, and nothing we have found as yet is salvageable.
