Run for Recovery

We are raising money for The Arc recovery centre in the heart of Manchester by running The Great Manchester Run 10K on May 18th 2025 . This local community centre offers support with substance misuse with an added community kitchen for the homeless, providing hot drinks and meals as well as clothing for those in need.

The Arc provides a warm welcoming space for people to grow and build a new life for themselves, whether this is the local community or ex -offenders from local prisons. It provides mental health and recovery-based services aiming to become physically, mentally, and emotionally well and responsible member of society.

We are doing this in partnership with prisoners at HMP Manchester who will be running the 10k on treadmills within the prison on the same date to help raise awareness of The Arc and to help in their own recovery journey.
