In September 2017 our family was hit with some devastating news.  My dad started having some troubles with chest pain, his breathing and just all around not feeling well.  After getting into the doctor he was referred to a cardiologist and then an oncologist for further testing where he was diagnosed with Stage IV Small Cell Lung Cancer.

We immediately got him into Siteman Cancer Center to be seen and begin treatment.  After the initial biopsy we were told that Chemo needed to be started right away but radiation would not be an option.  The large tumor is wrapped around his aorta along with a small amount in his stomach.

 Over the last 9 months my dad has undergone Chemo, Stem Cell treatments, weekly shots and  has had multiple hospital stays with little to no sign of improvement at this point.  We have recently started a new study drug, hoping to see some improvement  as medical bills pile up. 

My brother and I are working on raising funds to help my dad with his medical expenses and get him through this fight.  He tries to work as much as possible and won't ask ANYONE for anything but now is the time for everyone to rally around and help HIM KICK CANCERS ASS!!!!
