Fighting Cancer While Trying to Save My Dog’s Life.

Hi, my name is Steve, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share.

Recently, I was diagnosed with aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The word cancer still doesn’t feel real. Before I could even begin to process it, life threw me another blow — my beloved dog was diagnosed with diabetes.

He’s my best friend, my family, my constant source of comfort. He’s been there for me through every dark night, every hospital visit, and every quiet moment of fear. Now, he needs daily insulin injections and expensive prescription food to stay alive.

But here’s the truth — I’ve lost my job due to my illness. I’m doing my best to fight for my life and take care of his, but the cost of treatment, medicine, and just getting by is overwhelming.

I’m asking for help — not out of weakness, but out of love. I can’t give up on him, and I refuse to let him suffer because I’m sick.
