Fire burned my dad's trailer home down early morning of 1/14/2015 during a fire that burned my brother's shop to the ground. Everything he owned was lost.
Dad, seeing a fire in the shop, left all his belongings as he ran from his trailer in slippers and pajamas yelling "fire" to alert occupants in the house near the shop. Thanks to his selfless and quick actions the house was hosed down and did not catch fire. Pajamas and slippers were all Dad was left with.
Dad lost his teeth-a partial that recently cost him $2,000.00 out of his own pocket. He is on a fixed social security income and continued to supplement his income by working with tools and fiberglass that burned in the shop. The funds raised will go for his teeth, tools and a replacement trailer home plus set up.
Earlier in his life Dad served in the Navy; served on the Bay Center volunteer fire department; generously helps many in their time of need and continues to be a generous and caring community member. Replacing his teeth and a few of his tools would bless him beyond measure.
Thank you for your kindness of any financial contribution and thank you especially for your prayers and encouragement. Dad will be choked up unsuccessfully holding back tears of overwhelming gratitude for your love.
