Hello friends and family!
As of January 11th I will be gone on the biggest trip of my life and won't be home until June 23rd! That's nearly 6 months in foreign territory. Let me tell you about what I will be doing...
First of all I will tell you about the organization I will be going through... It is called YWAM. Youth With A Mission. It is a Christian organization run by volunteers. There are bases set up all over the world! In total there are over 1,200, one of them even in our humble city of Edmonton. It is called a discipleship training program. The program consists of 2-3 months of lecture and learning and then 2-3 months of application and works. You choose what base you'd want to go to and then study there for the lecture phase. Then your outreach is decided upon and you set off for missions work! On our outreach we will be spreading love through actions, words and example whereever we are called to go.
I have decided to go to a strangely named city in Australia... Wollongong. That is where I will be spending my lecture phase! The outreach has yet to be decided.
This is where my "go fund me" page comes into play. Being a volunteer based organization the program is not free... and it' not cheap either to be honest. So for financial help they suggest fundraising from family and friends.
This page will be my main source of donations and will help me exponentially in reaching my final goal. With your help I will be able to embark on my greatest quest, and spread the love of God.
