Please Help the Lane Family!

We are Bill and Kurran Strunk and Mindy Huff. One of our dear, dear friends, Jessica Lane, is an amazing teacher, loving mother, and awesome wife. She and her family suffered a devastating loss over New Year's weekend. Jessica was pregnant with her fourth child, a boy, when she began experiencing what was originally thought of as food poisoning. ER doctors discovered abdominal bleeding so they decided to keep her overnight. Jessica was prepped for emergency surgery where it was discovered that the baby's placenta was attached to scar tissue.

She had over NINE blood transfusions during an initial six hour surgery, which was followed by an additional three hours of surgery. In order to save Jessica's life, the baby boy, whom they have named Shep J, had to be taken. In order to save her life again, the doctors had to perform an emergency hysterectomy. We are all so blessed and lucky that Jessica is still with us!

Those of you who know Jessica and JD and their family of four beautiful boys know what a giving family they are. They are devastated because Jess and JD were not finished building their family. We would love to raise money to help them cope with the insurmountable medical bills they are accruing. ANY amount will be so appreciated by Jess and JD!
