As you may know by now, I have PTSD-COMBAT RELATED. I am on a journey to try to heal. I do not want to take this to my grave. I want a happy ending. I am traveling across America visiting VA Hospitals speaking to Therapist, Social Workers, Psychiatrist, or Case Managers talking to them about their PTSD programs and "One-on-One" therapy sessions. Trying to find the one that fits me. Along the way I am reconnecting with people from my past (both military and civilian). It is a healing process all in it's own. I have been doing this while living out of my 2008 Pontiac Vibe. Going from rest area to truck stops to putting up a tent in camping areas to spare rooms at some of my friends' homes. The trip is working so far! When asked to explain what it is that I wish to accomplish I tell them "As Combat Veterans we carry this cup inside us that is overflowing with PTSD. I am hoping to empty that cup. At least half way which would be a great improvement on the quality of my life.
I am doing all of this on $750 a month. That's approximately $25 a day. I have lived on this for over a year back at home in Wisconsin. But the costs of living on the road are higher than at home.
I will make this journey a success if I have to walk it! Recently a friend from my past told me that this isn't a simple change in your life. What you are doing for yourself... Others couldn't do as a group. You will need help. Ask for it! Get the chip off your shoulder and ask!
I must tell you that my copilot's seat is occupied. Occupied by my Bible and without His help, I would have turned around after that 0 degree night in a rest area with only a 1/4 tank of gas. As this journey unfolds I must say that He has put some very amazing people in my path!
Well, I am asking you for financial assistance to help cover the costs of being on the road. The money will be spent on gas, auto maintenance, food (hot meat and potatoe meals), an occasional motel, and breakdowns/equipment replacement or replenishment.
I am going to complete this mission one way or another!

-United Methodist in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
-Mosaic Church also in Maple Grove Minnesota. ---Transport for Christ (Mobile Chapels located in truck stops, designed for truckers).
