On September 19, our family member, Ryan Shevolup, suffered a major heart attack while at work. Thankfully he was rushed to the hospital where he had undergone emergency surgery. While under, doctors used the defibrillator 3 times to restart his heart. We are grateful for the care and expertise of the staff at the RGH as they were able to give Ryan a second chance at life. Although he's now discharged and resting at home, he is on a long road to recovery as his heart is now operating at a 37% ejection fraction (half the capacity is was before).

We have set up a go fund me to help relieve the financial stress for Ryan as he recovers. He is not able to drive or go back to work unless the doctors say otherwise. As someone with a strong work ethic and a love for cars, this is very devastating for him. We want to make sure the medical bills (ambulance ride, prescription drugs) and his monthly bills (mortgage, utility bills) are covered so he can focus on his recovery.

Ryan has a long road to recovery ahead of him, and any help you can offer is most welcome.
Thank you and also send lots of best wishes.
