Class of 2025 Safe & Sober Grad Night - June 6

Project Graduations are volunteer groups of parents, staff, and community members who organize an all-night party created to promote a safe, supervised, alcohol and drug-free evening for graduating seniors across the country. CGPG committee has successfully hosted this final farewell for the Casa Grande graduating class for 36 years. We rely completely on community support and fundraisers to make it happen. In the past few years, fundraising opportunities have significantly changed. This has had us re-think how we fund this event. Crowdsourcing/fundraising has given us the opportunity to secure the necessary monies needed to continue hosting graduating classes.

Project Grad costs about $30,000 to put on and ticket sales account for less than half of our budget. The Casa Grande class of 2025 has approximately 420 graduating seniors. We typically have a 70% attendance rate. The money we raise is used for event space rental, inflatables, DJ, photo booth, beauticians, barbers, caricaturists, magicians, and prizes for the graduates. Prizes include TVs, bikes, gaming consoles, laptops, luggage, jewelry, Apple watches, and gift cards. We also have FOOD and we mean FOOD - served all night long. Most of the food is donated by local restaurants, but we do purchase other necessary supplies.
