Susan’s Fight

Susan’s fight began in 2021 when she developed Covid Pneumonia and was hospitalized for 3 long months. Between the hospital, and two long term care facilities, she kept pushing through. After being sent home on oxygen, we anticipated the long road would be nearing the end. Little did we know, that road was just beginning. Susan hasn’t been able to work since she has been home.

October 2022, after a bronchoscopy was preformed, she developed a cough that wouldn’t go away.

She was taken to LRH, where she is currently sedated and on a ventilator. As of now, she is not an eligible candidate for a lung transplant.

As most of you know, her husband of 36 years, is a self employed contractor, who also has been having to take much needed time off to care for Susan in various ways.

We know so many are struggling; but if we can make things easier for Ray + Susan by eliminating as much medical debt as we can, he can continue to focus on her care.
