Dad of Four Requires Brain Surgery

Darren, 49, is a loving husband and an amazing father to four children. Darren and wife, Bronwyn, are two of the most selfless people anyone could meet. 11 years ago they began fostering children, as well as raising their own four children. In this time, they raised and homed over 50 children. They only stopped fostering due to Darren’s declining health about a year ago. 

For weeks, Darren has been suffering with chronic migraines, light sensitivity, severe nausea and vomiting, change in sense of smell and frequent mood swings causing Darren to be unable to work currently. He was taken to hospital 10/2/2018 where the doctors did a CT and MRI where they found a 1-inch benign tumour in the Pituitary Gland, which is pressing on his Optic Nerve.  Darren will need to undergo neurosurgery (brain surgery) to remove the tumour. 

Bronwyn is unable to take time off work, as she needs to continue to support the family financially. Darren will need to go to Sydney for treatment and Bronwyn needs to be there for her husband. Any funds raised will help to take some of the financial burden from the family so that Bronwyn is able to go to Sydney and help Darren without the added worry of also supporting her children, paying for travel costs and paying bills. All donations would be greatly appreciated and no matter how big or small will not go unnoticed.
