It turns out that experiencing brain surgery and its aftermath is a costly venture. Many of you near and dear have been caring in so many ways and I am humbled by your generosity. If you choose to help out with the financial challenge that has been presented through this situation I ask that you do so anonymously as I do not want anyone to feel obligated to contribute in this way.  Acts of kindness are not always measured in dollars and cents and I am grateful for your support and encouragement in any form you choose to express it.
