SAINT Rescue and Adoption - Cats in need campaign
Vinnie is a one year old cat saved by our rescue as an older kitten. He has been slowly learning to trust, but unfortunately something spooked him in early July. He had a fall and broke the two bones in his lower hind leg (tibia and fibula).
This required emergency surgery at the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Clinic. A pin, plate and screws were used to repair the broken bones, which took over two hours of surgery.
Vinnie will require numerous follow up appointments for check ups and x rays to insure he heals properly. He will also need constant care and medication in his foster home.
Our charity has also recently rescued a colony in the north Toronto area. We have taken in 7 adults, a pregnant mom and 2 kittens. Quite a few of the adults have health issues. One needs extensive dental surgery, another needs to see the ophthalmologist for eye surgery and most of the others have health issues which will require on going veterinary care.
If anyone can help to offset these costs it would be greatly appreciated.
