I am starting this GoFundMe for a good friend of mine who is really going through a tough time right now. My friend DeAnna is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is always doing things to help out other people and especially our 4-legged friends, even organizing fundraising drives to help donate supplies to local animal shelters. DeAnna is a fierce lover of animals and right now her baby, Luna, is in for the fight of her life. Recently, after some tests and a biopsy at the vet, her little Luna's results came back revealing she has lymphoma. She now has an appointment in Yonkers to see the radiation specialist and will be doing a full-body CAT scan to see if it has spread to her lymph nodes.

After that, she will be starting her on a three-week, Monday through Friday radiation plan in Yonkers. Good news is with treatment the vet has said she will most likely continue to live a normal life. But without treatment, the outlook is not so good. With all the scans and weekly treatment, meds, etc., she is looking at upwards of $12-15k to try and save her best little friend. At only 7 years old, Luna still has so much life left in her. But the reality is that is a huge expense to incur and I'm hoping that we can maybe try to help ease some of that for DeAnna.
