Our friend Chris Russo and his family are facing lung transplant surgery for his wife Jennifer. She is on the top of the list (#1) at UCSF Medical Center for a donor. Chris has been juggling lots of added responsibilities and has had some significant hardships to deal with. He isn’t the type of person to reach out for help - he’s usually the one offering it. I believe they have the medical expenses covered and that should be fine except for insurance deductible. However having to rent a furnished apartment in the city of San Francisco for his daughters to be close to their mom and for Jennifer’s long recovery period is very expensive. Add to that all the transportation regularly between Sacramento and food for the family in SF. I know that Chris will hate me for doing this but I believe it’s a way for people to express how much they love him and want to help him and Jennifer and their beautiful girls. Thanks for considering to help them out with the additional cost of living in SF.
