Hi I'm Vanessa Parish Crooks and I'm here for help crowdfunding my very first album!

I'm an independent local artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. My music and poetry are expressed in English, Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole. My work is heavily influenced by Hip-Hop, Jazz and traditional cape Verdean music.

Creating and sharing my first album with the world would be life changing, not only in a healing way, but it could give me the possibility to reach more people. And who knows? Maybe even inspiring others to also follow their dreams and passions!

The funds would go towards bringing the the project to life and sharing it, far and wide.

Olá, o meu nome é Vanessa Parish Crooks e estou aqui para pedir ajuda com o financiamento coletivo do meu primeiro álbum! Sou uma artista independente de Lisboa, Portugal. A minha música e poesia estão expressas em inglês, português e crioulo cabo-verdiano. O meu trabalho é fortemente influenciado pelo hip-hop, jazz e música tradicional cabo-verdiana. Criar e partilhar o meu primeiro álbum com o mundo seria uma experiência transformadora, não só em termos de cura, mas também me daria a possibilidade de chegar a mais pessoas. E quem sabe?
