Help Our Family in This Time of Need

4/9/25, unfortunately as of last night our mom has passed.

My brother and I have tried our best to keep her condition private, however this last week she has taken a huge decline.

She suffered from a stroke a few months ago, at first she showed more cognitive symptoms then she did physical. But eventually her physical condition worsened and that led her to rehab. While in rehab she suffered two more acute strokes which landed her in the hospital 3 weeks ago yesterday.

Saturday 3/22 she suffered yet again another stroke and has taken a huge decline physically.

In the last 5 months she has gone from independent to bed bound .

On top of this she is also being treated for several other small conditions involving her heart and kidneys. She is on a NG tube now, and has needed a blood transfusion.

Our mom is all we have, and this has been very hard on our family. Physically mentally emotionally even financially ..

We've tried not to ask for help through all of this because we know others are struggling to, but unfortunately our family is at the point where we have to start a go fund me for my mom and brother and ask for help . My brother has missed a lot of work during this and his boss chose to let him go versus allowing him to use his Paid Leave for a leave, and for those of you who don't know he lives with her and was helping take care of her prior to this decline in health.

Our major concern is getting her through this, and keeping her home caught up for when she's able to go home (praying she'll eventually be able to).The purpose of this go fund me is to keep my brother ahead for the month of April and also allow us to travel back and forth to the hospital, and any other needs that may arise .

This has been a huge bump in the road for our family , especially my mom. We just want to make her happy and comfortable while she adjusts to this curve that was thrown at her.
