Tina’s funeral cost and relief support

Donation protected

Dear my families & friends,

As many of you know, our beloved Tina passed away on July 31st in the morning very peacefully, at the age of 4. Her face was covered with gentle smile at the end and she passed on without pain. I was honoured to be there with her until the last moment.

She was a beautiful, happy and the kindest little girl who was sharing her love to anyone unconditionally.

Tina had bone marrow transplant last year on July 25th In BC Children Hospital. It was half match T cell B cell depleted stem cell transplant, the first special case happened in BC. She had tough chemo for cleaning her original marrow in order to transplant new stem cell. The transplant went well. She went back home in late September 2019. However, she was admitted in the hospital in the middle of October and started her longest stay at the hospital for over 7 months.

During her stay in the hospital, she was never allowed to step out from the hospital because of the chest tubes inserted in her lungs.

She spent her birthday, Halloween, Christmas, New year, Valentines, Easters...in the hospital.

Finally, she was able to go home with special brake drain inserted in May 2020. Waking up with her parents beside her, eating breakfast with her family, playing with her little brother, Sedric.

We took her to nature where was full of sunshine, flowers and greens. She loved it. Our normal every day step out was her most special days.

In the same year June, she was admitted again. She started having chronic acute GvHD. Her skin tone and texture changed, her joint got stiff which led her not able to walk at the end. Her lung were full of water, need more oxygen every each day. Her liver and kidney enzyme went up daily which led her eventually passed on...

Please allow me to share these details here as many of you are wondering what happened to her, to answer the question why she went too sudden. She passed on in peace without pain. She is a happy angle in the heaven now.

The initial $25,000 in funds raised will go towards purely Tina’s funeral costs and related expenses. The cemetery expenses are the most  expensive one. The rest of $3,000 will be a support for the family, giving a little break from deep grief from losing our lovey Tina. A bank account will be set up soon for transferring funds in Tina’s mom, Dana’s account.

You may also directly email transfer Dana for the supporting funds.

The funeral will be held soon in the next week. Tina’s parents would like to invite as many as they can. However, there will be a restrictions and limitation of people we can invite due to COVID-19.

Thank you for reading her story and please share.

At the end, I am truly appreciate of my families and friends for your prayer, caring and love for Tina. Your prayer extend Tina’s beautiful life beside her family, even for a short time. Thank you.
