Hey, y’all!

As you all know my husband, Joshua, was in a motorcycle accident late Monday night, July 17th. He wrecked 2 miles from our home. He arrived at Baptist as a John Doe & he went into surgery not long after he arrived.

He had a full body scan and it showed he broke both of his legs. The doctors had to put rods and screws in his top half and bottom half of his left leg. On his right leg broke his Tibia & ankle. He has a boot but, still can’t put any weight on the right leg. And on top of that he lost a lot much blood in the process of surgery.

Josh had to get a blood transfusion which was very difficult to come to terms with. But, with him have little to no energy after physical therapy each time & so much praying, he got the transfusion.

Y’all….this chapter of our lives has started in such a whirlwind.

He finally got to quit a job at a battery plant that worked him so hard in high lead level environment & was supposed to officially start a job coming up this August that’d give him so much-needed time with God, family, & friends.

In quitting that job, we gave up our insurance. Which was a sacrifice we were willing to take at the time. Unfortunately, this accident happened hours after he quit his old job. Now, it will be a few months till he can start at the new one. And with Josh being the sole provider, this has stomped us.

If you know Josh & I, we never ask for help & will just make do with the cards we are dealt. But, with Josh being in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks, we’ve have quickly come to the realization that asking for help doesn’t make us weak.

Josh, our babies, & I truly appreciate everyone who has been reaching out & praying! We appreciate our family and friends who have helped take care of our 2 kids during this difficult time. Knowing Josh loves his kids. From helping our 7 y/oKaleb, ride a dirt bike to just goofing around our 1 y/o Ellie. This has been the hardest thing we could have imagined happening.

We are reaching out and asking for help. If you could please donate to this GoFundMe for Josh's our family expenses for the next few months or so. You will be helping us so much & it would be greatly appreciated!
