Casey’s Heart Surgery

Hey everyone,

my name is Heather, I started a go fund me for my best friends Christina and Colby.

On January 25th 2023 Christina and Colby received devastating news, news no parents want to hear. Sweet baby Casey was diagnosed with a major cardiac defect called Tetralogy of fallot just 15 short days after he was born.

While we are extremely grateful it was caught early this unfortunately means that their sweet boy will need to undergo heart surgery at 4 months of age in Chicago, Illinois at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Meaning they will be staying in another state for an extended period of time. Christina has not been working, and will likely not return before Casey’s surgery and both Christina and Colby will have to take off quite a bit of time, the doctor bills will be stacking up from specialists, surgery(s), appointments and normal everyday bills.

It is important for them to be able to focus on getting Casey healthy and not stressing about their bills being paid, and Colby being able to stay home on the hard days too.

If you are lucky enough to know Christina (and Colby) you know she is the kindest, most loving person on this planet and would do anything to help anyone. I’m asking for your help to show them even a portion of that kindness in return. Whether it’s a donation, a prayer, an encouraging message truly anything is appreciated.
