Michael‘s Medical Journey

Hi, my name is Jackie Park and I am organizing this fundraising event for a man that has been a friend, Pastor and counselor to so many people over the years. After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Michael Stewart researched all treatment options and recommendations shared with he and his wife Dianne. Relying on God for direction and bathing the decision in fervent prayer, a treatment consisting of 42 proton radiation therapy treatments over the course of two months in Jacksonville, Florida is the plan on which they have decided. Currently, insurance has denied coverage of the treatment and the cost ( without the additional living costs for the two month period ) is in excess of $56,000, which must be paid prior to receipt of the treatment.

Michael and Dianne are planning to move to Florida May 27th and start treatment on Monday, May 29th.

If you have ever met Michael, you join me in wanting to be the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus to this man and his family in their time of need. He has offered hope, encouragement, love and support to our family in many ways over the years and I know that many others have experienced the same! Let’s do what we can to show him he is not in this fight alone!
