My sister and her boyfriend were recently involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that changed our lives in an instant on November 22nd. My sister was critically injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital, where she was in a medically induced coma for about 2 weeks. She has since woken up but is still unable to speak or walk.

She is only 21 years old—so young, with her whole life ahead of her. Since the accident, she has undergone multiple major surgeries, and doctors have done everything they possibly can at this point. Now, it is truly up to her strength and her body to continue fighting. The road ahead is going to be long, difficult, and filled with tremendous challenges.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to stay strong, hopeful, and by her side every step of the way. The emotional toll alone has been overwhelming, and the financial burden from medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation, and travel will continue to grow.
