2020. It’s our 25th anniversary. A restaurant going strong, through so much adversity… a shaky opening, 9/11, a fire in 2007, temporary closure for renovations, the recession of 2008-2009. All the while, we experienced so many laurels, one of Chicago Magazine’s best new restaurants, years of repeated awards, expansion and accolades.The Oak Park community has been so good to us, generous and supportive. Our customers… our guests… from first dates to married with kids; we have watched our regulars live life through the years.


Throughout all of it, there has has been one constant - our employees - the Cucina family. The name Cucina Paradiso means nothing without our hard working, dedicated employees - from the ones that have been with us decades to the ones that just started months ago. I owe them a lifetime of support as they have made me who we are. The arrival of the Coronavirus, the restrictions placed upon us and Oak Park to stay healthy… This is an extremely difficult situation and will be tough to overcome, but I am willing to do anything to keep food and shelter available to our employees.


Setting up this tip jar is way I can help our Cucina family… and you can too. The proceeds from this $25,000 tip jar will be shared with everyone - our entire staff. I will start the tip jar by adding $1,000!!!!!!!
