This is Michael Lewandowski and his mother Judy. Mike had an accident where he fell in his home in California. By the time he was found, he was so ill he needed to be put in the ICU. While there, he developed additional problems, and his body was not strong enough to fight all of it. This past Friday, Mike passed. Mike was the kindest, most loving, supportive, and fun person. To know him was to love him. He worked as a teacher in Arizona for some years and was a 6th-grade teacher in Corona California at the same junior high for over 25 years. His family and friends are devastated by this unexpected loss. His family (who lives in Arizona) was with him in California every step of the way. As a result, they have incurred many expenses since being there (car, hotel, food, car issues, etc.) and now they need to make final arrangements to lay him to rest. And just to add to the load, his mother has gone into the hospital and may need surgery. The family needs support more than ever before. These are people who will show up to support others in a heartbeat with no questions asked. It’s time to do it for them!
