UPTOWN FREE STORE has been fighting Community evictions ALL. SUMMER. LONG.

With the unwavering help of our Supporting Community, volunteering their time for tenant Advocacy via phone, virtually and in-person, we’ve made it THIS far dodging eviction originally scheduled for 7/30/2024.
We’ve now come to the final days of this resistance, as the city marshal awaits a call to action.
•
We are currently collecting funds for EMERGENCY movers + storage, and emergency (which hopefully turns into permanent) housing.
•
We are relying 100% on the support of ANYONE with us in this fight against the violent displacement and gentrification of locals, long time residents and Community Organizers, who are fighting for safe and dignified housing FOR US ALL.

We are forever grateful to everyone that has supported us on this journey thus far, as this work
