Colleen Daly cancer fund

My name is Jill Passante, my sister Tara Daly and I are starting this account for our youngest sister Colleen Daly. She was diagnosed with a rare condition called Zollinger Ellison Syndrome which has caused a gastrinoma tumor to form in the pancreas, which has also caused more than 11 stomach ulcers. The first course of treatment, aside from daily medication will be a surgery called the Whipple procedure, which is set for Feb,3 in NYC,this operation is performed to treat cancerous tumours on the head of the pancreas,it involves removal of the head of the pancreas, the duodenum, and a portion of the stomach, as well as the gallbladder and a portion of the bile duct. We are hoping to raise money for her to help offset the many medical bills that will soon follow, as well as some living expenses since the estimated time out of work, and without pay will be a minimum of 4 weeks. As we are unsure of the post-surgery treatment, and if further measures will need to be taken, we are hoping to relieve some of the financial burden.
