In the early hours of July 6th, 2025, Brandon Browns world was shattered in an instant. He awoke to thick smoke and the choking sting of fire engulfing his Brooklyn apartment. As flames spread rapidly through his second-floor home in East Flatbush, Brandon had no time to save anything—not his phone, his wallet, clothes, or even a pair of shoes. He barely escaped with his life.
The fire—still under investigation—completely destroyed everything Brandon owned. He walked out with the clothes on his back and nothing more. With no ID, no contact information, and nowhere to turn, he's been left without access to essential services, and sadly, NYC emergency housing and support resources have been extremely limited.
Right now, Brandon is sleeping on a friend’s couch. He has no clothing, no toiletries, and no basic necessities. He's trying to piece his life back together from absolutely nothing.
Brandon is a kind, dedicated dance and gymnastics instructor who works with young children in Brooklyn. He lives a modest, humble life, working hard and making ends meet like so many of us. He’s never asked for help before—but today, he needs it more than ever.
We are asking for your support to help Brandon begin to rebuild:
A clean change of clothes
A safe, stable place to stay
Essential personal items
Help replacing lost documents and IDs
Funds to get back on his feet
Anything you can give—$5, $50, $500—will make a real difference. If you’re not in a place to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Every share spreads hope.
Let’s come together and show Brandon that even in the darkest moments, he’s not alone. Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and giving if you’re able.
ith gratitude, we sincerely thank you
Family and Friends of Brandon B.
