Family home destroyed in house fire.

In the early hours of Friday 16th may, my beautiful sisters and families home was destroyed by an electrical fault fire. My sister, her partner, and 3 children, 16, 10 & 1 years old evacuated the house and are currently okay.

Tragically, their family cats couldn’t make it outside in time, so Darlings & Floyd passed away.

All they have now is the clothes that were on their back at 3am last night.

The family are so bewildered and simply don’t know where to start rebuilding their lives again. They are homeless, with no belongings for themselves or the children & baby, and will be staying around families houses for the foreseeable.

Sadly, because of the cost of living crisis, home insurance wasn’t deemed a priority bill for a family of 5 in a rented home.

Laura, my sister, is a really proud lady and would never ask for this herself, she would always give someone her very last penny, and through life has fundraised, donated and helped copious amounts of people.

I can’t express my appreciation and gratitude enough to anyone that helps us all, the love we have started to feel from those around us is incredible.
