Kyle and Neil Walldorff

Many may know Kyle has recently been diagnosed with MDS; a very rare form of Blood Cancer.  MDS, (Myelodysplastic Syndrom) is a condition that affects the bone marrow and the blood cells it produces.  Kyles white blood cells are dangerously low and any small infection can become a huge problem in a short time.  

STEM CELL TRANSPLANT - The only treatment that is capable of curing MDS.  (This is where Neil comes in) Kyle has been fortunate enough to find a match with his own brother.  Not only was there only a 25% chance of Neil being a match, but he also matched 10 for 10 of the genetic markers necessary.  Let the miracles continue.

This campaign is to rally for support to help the whole family as out of pocket medical bills rise and also to assist in the cost of going back and forth to Ann Arbor (U of M) for specialized treatment with the experts.

As Kyle begins his hospital stay and Neil prepares for his donation and his own recovery, may the family know we all gather in prayers and support surrounding them in a blanket of God's Love.  Let them know 'We are a team of Prayer Warriors'. 

Treatment Plan:  Thursday September 17th- Surgery to insert NeoStar Port to receive chemo as well as Transplant infusion. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 4 days worth of chemotherapy to detroy cells in the bone marrow.  Tuesday - Day off !!
Wednesday - September 23rd, Harvest Day for Stem Cells from Neils bone marrow (no small procedure- God Bless you!) and Transplant to follow.
