I have deactivated the gofundme donation link because the link for Heather's scholarship is now up on the CVM's giving website. Go here to donate to the scholarship fund if you want to donate more or haven't donated yet and are looking to donate. Click on "Choose a fund" and scroll down to the "Dr. Heather Waterman Huneycutt Memorial Scholarship" under "Scholarships and Teaching."

The initial goal is to raise enough to send flowers from our Class and purchase a paver in the Walk of Honor at the CVM in Heather's memory and a plaque at TAU.
Matt McKinlay did a great job with his post on facebook:
Heather was a beautiful person in every sense of the word. Always smiling, also happy, and also looking for a new adventure.
When you work, learn, and experience the same ups and downs with someone while each trying to achieve the same goals and dreams you make a connection, a deep connection, that sometimes you don't realize has been made until you lose a part of that connection.
I won't see her at continuing educations or at the after parties. I won't get to ask how she likes her job or what interesting cases she gets to see. Instead I will have to remember who she was and what she loved and stood for and try and carry a small part of her with me even if that means taking the road less traveled and seeking out new experiences that take me out of my comfort zone. That's what Heather taught me and that's why I consider her a great friend and tragic loss to my classmates and I. We love you Heather.
