Caylee is our 11 year old adopted Golden who has been through a lot in her short life. Mast cell tumors, breast tumors, being hit by a car, then in May we were faced with having to amputate her leg because of a very aggressive tumor. Three months later she finally adapted to having three legs, getting around great and very happy. We thought," wow, we are so grateful to have her back to her old crazy self." Now, just when you think what else could happen, when you think you have been through the worst, we now find she has Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and will require 18 weeks of chemo therapy. Life saving therapy, for if we do nothing, she will surely die in a matter of weeks. We have absorbed the costs of her surgeries, meds and lab work thus far. We have cancelled vacations and maxed out credit cards for the love of our baby girl. She is such a sweet and loving girl, she deserves all we can do for her. But we have hit a brick wall financially and the expected chemo costs and supportive treatment will cost as much as her amputation if not more.
Our baby still has a fighting chance to beat this. She has done all we can ask of her and she wouldn't give up on us and we can't give up on her. Any amount you can donate to Caylee is most welcome and we are very thankful for all your help and support.
Thank you,
Maggio/Anderson Family
