Medical Expenses for Mike Anderson

My uncle Mike Anderson, originally from Border/Birchdale, Minnesota currently resides with his mom, Sharon Anderson, in Lincoln, Nebraska. To say Mike has endured trying times over the past few years is an understatement.

He is currently a paraplegic amputee with kidney failure, on full time dialysis, and diabetes, with countless other medical issues that have kept him either hospitalized and/or in a care center for the past couple years.

Most recently, Mike was in a care center for 7 months and had to give up his 401K and sell his truck to help fund his 24/7 care.

Just last night, he was finally released back home to his mom's house. He is wheelchair bound and my grandmother is his full time caregiver. Disability and Medicare cover the cost of his wheelchair, however in order to get an electric lift installed, that cost of $1500 is out of pocket. With little income, this will be a challenge for him.

I'm asking for any financial help you're willing and able to give to help purchase this lift and aid in further medical expenses that he'll incur in order to stay home with my grandma and out of hospitals.

Mike is a fighter and a survivor and I appreciate all the support and love shown to him during a very stressful, emotionally and physically draining past few years of his life.
