It has been 76 days since we found out that our sweet five-year-old French Bulldog, Gigi, was diagnosed with primary liver sarcoma. She has already completed three rounds of chemotherapy. During her most recent ultrasound, we received both hopeful and heartbreaking news. The cancer has not metastasized, but her myotonic levels remain very high, which indicates a poor prognosis.  Today we went back to the hospital and learned that there is fluid and blood in her abdomen. They provided us with medication to help make her last days a bit more comfortable. This has been an incredibly hard and expensive journey, but we would not have done it any other way. We are holding on tightly to every single day with her, celebrating every small win, and surrounding her with as much love as possible. We have already spent over twenty thousand dollars on her care, and while treatment has stopped, our focus now is on keeping her comfortable and happy. Any help toward her comfort care and ongoing medical needs means more than words can say. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or kept Gigi in your thoughts.
