In the midst of the pandemic our world is experiencing, at the beginning of this month the Spring family experienced the unimaginable. Our Dal grew extremely ill due to pre-existing medical issues, eventually landing him in the ICU, fighting for his life to come home to his wife Jennifer and daughter Langston. As Dal's condition continued to make turns for the worst, thousands gathered in prayer, hoping for a miracle.
On May 05, 2020, Dal took his last breaths in his earthly body, surrounded by love. The doctors and nurses that were assigned to Dal's case worked tirelessly around the clock, in hopes that things would make a turn for the better, for the miracle that they too were so hopeful for. They mourned alongside the family in the loss of his great life.
Though we did not get the miracle that so many prayed and worked around the clock for, we find comfort in the reality that Dal is no longer suffering. At Dal's funeral, Pastor Bryan Haynes expressed that though we did not receive the miracle we hoped for, the miracle of Dal's life is where we can find our comfort. Comfort can also be found in the gratitude we have for knowing him and being able to witness the love and friendship Dal brought to everyone he encountered.
With everything that has happened, being so incredibly sudden, it will inevitably take a financial toll on Jennifer and Langston, as much as the emotional toll it already has. As they still process their loss and learn to navigate everyday life without Dal, we have decided to create this GoFund Me page in order to ensure they are taken care of as they heal from this extremely sudden, and blind sighted tragedy.
