Need Help With Final Expenses

Hi, my name is Lauri and I am doing this fundraiser to help pay my vet. On Nov. 4, 2022, we had to put our sweet Chorkie to sleep. He had diabetes and wasn't eating. He was doing better then all of a sudden he wouldn't eat. We rushed him to the vet on Nov. 3, 2022. They ran multiple tests, tried to rehydrate him and did blood tests also. Turns out his kidneys were shutting down. We were told we could bring him home but if we did that, we would be having to watch him die. We agonized over the only decision we had. We decided the only humane thing to do was to "free" him of his pain. He was constantly vomiting because he couldn't hold anything down and the vomiting was taking a serious toll on his little body. On Thursday morning we rushed over to him at the vets office where my husband signed the papers to "let him go". They brought him in to us and I held him in my arms. Rascal was alert enough to turn his head to look for my husband and I could feel his little nub of a tail give a tiny wag when he saw his Daddy. When the vet came in with the shots to put him to sleep, I held Rascal firmly and closely to my chest so the last thing he heard was my heartbeat. He was only 9 years old.
