Charlie is not your typical greyhound. She’s a rescue who never had to endure the harsh life of racing. Instead, she’s known for her gentle nature, loving heart, and the quiet comfort she brings to everyone around her. Charlie quickly adapted to her new life, filling her home with warmth and joy.

A Tragic Day

Whilst out on Sunday Charlie’s owner received a call from the emergency vet saying Charlie was found unable to stand, trembling with pain and was rushed to the emergency vet by a kind neighbour. It was discovered that Charlie had sustained severe injuries to three of her legs. The exact cause of her injuries remains a mystery, but the impact on Charlie’s life has been devastating.

The vets have worked tirelessly to stabilise Charlie, and she is fighting hard, but the road to recovery is going to be long, painful, and costly.

Charlie has given so much love, and now she needs your help. The cost of her ongoing care, surgery, and rehabilitation is overwhelming expected to reach in excess of $10,000.00.
