After the sudden loss of our dear friend Matthew Callow, a few of us who have long volunteered at the festival felt it was important to carry forward his vision. In Matt’s spirit, we’re moving ahead with the May 2026 dates he had planned.

To make this possible, we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to help us raise the initial budget. We’re also working on creating a permanent memorial at the Alfriston site—a place where Matt’s love for the festival can always be felt.

With the kindness of our community, and your support, we believe we can bring this festival to life and keep Matt’s magic alive for everyone to share.
