As many of you know I have made a life out of theater in Chico, California, a small town with a heart of a beast. It has been an artistic career that has only been at the expense of my time and the greatest value to my well being, parenthood and identity. I have been paid in this commitment with something far more meaningful than money.
For my 40th Birthday, I set my heart on a female wrestling show. I want to undress the fear of aging, and I want to celebrate the triumphs and failures of the first four decades of this woman's life with the metaphor of physical matches.
So far the training and rehearsals have been a rich delight and the show is promising to be a rabid and sensual delight.
I am starting a gofundme for PUMA: Pussies Under Massive Attack to help tackle the production costs of this ass-kicking celebration of 40 hard ass years, women and making meaningful work with great people in a great place.
PUMA needs a ring folks: mats, boards, ropes, springs. Building materials beyond the resources of what I can put on my credit card. We want to give you an ass-kicking performance you won't forget.
