COVID-19 INTUBATION BOX

Due to the recent viral outbreak, many patients face respiratory failure which requires intubation to ensure the patient can sustain proper breathing.  To preform this, healthcare workers must make direct contact with patients. Due to the shortage of protective gear across the globe, PAPR and N95 masks, healthcare workers need another method to protect themselves from the spread of the virus. Dr. Hsien Yung Lai designed the aerosol box to allow for safe intubation while slowing the spread of COVID-19. These boxes can be efficiently and inexpensively made for use during this pandemic. Even still, funding is required to source the materials. For this, we ask for your support while we work tirelessly to aid the workers battling against this virus.
