Love Fund for the Jones Family

For those who may not know Stephen Jones, he is the fiance of my sister, Kristen Rieger, and the father of their two adorable babies,  Dylan-5 and Layla-3 months. Hes the guy you can always count on for a good laugh,  trivia facts and the one person to ease the tension in a room with his personality. Thursday, January 8th changed the Jones' life dramatically. Stephen stayed home because he was not feeling well, and was feeling very dizzy and feverish. Then, when Kristen came home from work at 4:30 pm that day, she found Stephen seizing on the floor of their sons room. He was rushed into the ER and briefly experienced respitory failure while they tried to get his seizures under control. Finally with anti seizure medication, intubation and sedation, they were able to get him stable. He is currently in the medical center being looked at by Neurologist, Geneticists, and Infectious Disease doctors, under going multiple tests, and being injected with tons of medications to prevent seizures, infection and to keep him resting so his body can recover, and so they can try to understand what this is and why this happened. Each day he takes a steps towards recovery. Kristen has been at his side almost every moment, and although he is currently sedated, he is aware of her presence and his heart rate and brain activity speak for themselves. He calms down when shes speaking to him and his EEG spikes when shes holding his hand... <3
