On Tuesday, Aug 12, our beloved friend and fellow LA County EMT-P Paramedic Supervisor, Terrence Anderson, was involved in a scuba diving accident while training to become a rescue scuba diver. Terrence is temporarily paralyzed. He has some tingling in his legs and feet but is unable to move his legs completely on his own. He is currently recovering at Providence Mission Viejo Hospital and doing some physical therapy there. He will soon be transported to a trauma 1 hospital to finish his recovery and treatment there. The length of his recovery is unknown at this time, but he is hopeful and in good spirits.
Terrence has dedicated his life to selflessly saving and taking care of others. He has been in the Emergency Medical Service field for over 13 years. He started as an EMT, then Paramedic, and is now a Paramedic Supervisor. Outside of saving people, he made sure to teach individuals proper gun safety and survival skills. He is a selfless individual who is always trying to sharpen his skills and try something new. Scuba rescue is his new career path he was recently working on.
This fundraising campaign is dedicated to help support him as he will not be able to work until he is fully recovered. Any contributions, big or small, will directly help Terrence during this incredibly challenging time, allowing him to focus solely on his recovery. Your support means the world to Terrence. Please consider donating and sharing his story.
