Don protégé
On December 27th, George 'Geo' Gravert was dealt the devastating news that he had pancreatic cancer. He is currently under the care of doctors and staff at the University Of Iowa Hospital.
George is 51 years old, with two young children and a loving companion Vanessa Anderson. His beautiful daughter Riley (Boots) has George's heart and his kind of soul and his handsome son Levi has George's dark brown eyes. He's such a clown - very much like his dad. Both have his trademark smile that we'll always remember.
George met Vanessa Anderson in 2010 on a trail ride in Hawntown. They have had so many memorable moments since then. We are all thankful that George has Vanessa by his side to support him through this.
George is self-employed....he has been a small farmer for most of his life with a true passion for raising cows and owner of Gravert Construction.
Anyone who knows George is aware he is the kindest, most loving, and most generous person around. A true friend to so many of us. George is always the first one to offer to help - his generosity and kindness has always spoken for itself. And now we have a chance to do something for him. Let's help him out!
