Jason, a dedicated officer at the City of Azle Police Department since February 2019, has faced considerable challenges recently. Known for his infectious humor and commitment, Jason has served diligently in the Patrol Division, also taking roles such as a School Resource Officer. His dedication has been recognized with numerous accolades including a Life Saving Award and being named Officer of the Year in 2022. Additionally, his contributions to the community were honored when he was voted Employee of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce in the same year.

Tragically, in early 2023, Jason was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. Despite the shock of discovering masses in March and undergoing significant medical procedures like a MEDIPORT and starting chemotherapy, Jason's resilience shines through. Amidst this, Jason and his wife Mariana, who have been together for six years, received joyous news of expecting a baby, bringing a glimmer of hope to their lives.

During this taxing time, as Jason undergoes his second round of chemotherapy and deals with complications such as a recently discovered blood clot, the financial strain is mounting. Known for his willingness to assist anyone in need, it's now our turn to support Jason. His colleagues at the police department are rallying to raise funds to help cover his medical expenses and ensure his family's well-being. Contributions to his medical fund would greatly alleviate the financial stress and enable Jason to focus on his treatment and forthcoming fatherhood.
