Jake's Fire Fund

I’ve created this fund for Jacob Harmon, a close friend and co-worker of mine. Many of you know him as a long-time nightshift nurse on the Stem Cell Transplant Unit at Riley Children’s Hospital of IU Health. He’s goofy, fun-loving, and passionate about his job and is adored by his patients and work family. What many of you may not know is that last Sunday, Jacob Harmon suffered a terrible house fire. He lost everything and as a result, his house is essentially needing to be rebuilt. It’s unclear how long he will be displaced from his home or how much the restoration efforts will cost him.

Anyone who knows Jake, knows it is not in his nature to ask for help--- ever! However, I can’t imagine anyone could go through a devastating life event such as this, without the help of others. I know if the roles were reversed, he'd be offering to help me in any way he could. I know I'm not alone in wanting to help Jake during this difficult time, so I thought what better way to do so than a GoFundMe page. Please consider donating.
