Hello! As many of you already know, my daughter delivered her baby at just 26 weeks. We are on day 115 in the NICU and so far, McLeod has taken really good care of him. Unfortunately, he is having to be transported to MUSC in Charleston, SC, approx. 2 hours and 15 mins from home. The team will consult with the family there about placement of a g-tube. That is a tube surgically inserted directly into the stomach to be a second hand way of delivering food, nutrients, and medicine. Wyatt is taking bottles by mouth so the team at MUSC may try to work with him so he does not have to have surgery but either way the family will be accruing medical, lodging, food bills parking bills, etc. They won't know until they are actually on the way if there will be space at the Ronald McDonald house, but even if, the Ronald McDonald house still accepts donations to keep them running.

If you feel led, please consider donating even just a little to help this trying time be a little easier. They have held off for 3 1/2 months asking for help but McLeod Hospital was a lot closer than MUSC Charleston.

We all know a lot of us are in difficult times so even if you cannot help financially, please be in prayer for our sweet Wyatt!!
