Connor is the true definition of a warrior. In his short 11 years of life Connor has faced many battles. He has undergone 6 brain and 5 spine surgeries along with countless other surgeries and procedures. Connor suffers from several conditions that affect his quality of life. Connor has Chiari Malformation, craniocervical instability and ehlers danlos syndrome.

In 2019 Connor underwent surgery to remove the hardware holding his fusion for his instability due to hardware killing his body. Removing the hardware was a hard choice but needed to be done to save his life. Unfortunately this put him back at risk for instability in the future.

This past fall Connor started to decline rapidly. After several tests it was discovered that Connor’s spine was pressing on his brain stem causing instability and several debilitating symptoms. Due to Connor’s past this fusion will be extremely difficult and the type of surgery has never been done on a child before. His team in NYC has been practicing and are determined to give Connor his quality of life back. Connor is scheduled for surgery in NYC on April 10th with hopes of a sooner date once insurance is figured out. He is currently in a cervical collar full time to help relieve some on his symptoms.

Currently the hospital is refusing to work with Connors insurance with a surgery that is needed to prevent brain damage and give him his life back. To add to the stress Connors mom is self employed and raising 3 kids completely on her own. Let’s rally around Connor and his family and help lessen some of the burden of surgery out of state and her being out of work.
