Emergency Housing

Hi, I'm Matchi, and this is an emergency gofundme in hopes that I may stay living in my current apartment with my two fur babies Jax and Bear.

The first weekend of May (2023) I discovered that my husband, the only other source of income in our apartment, was taken to jail. He was charged with Invasion of Privacy and given a misdemeanor. This news shook my world and immediately took away 7 years of trust I had for my partner. I've asked that he move out, however, affording our current apartment and bills alone is unfortunately difficult with my income alone as of right now.

I'm looking to raise 3,000 to cover rent for up to 4 months until I would have to re-sign our lease. This should give me enough time to decide whether living on my own is possible without secondary income. The 3,000 would be put toward rent immediately, allowing me to save my future paychecks for medical bills that may arise, groceries, and other necessities.

The goal would be to have this by the end of May (2023) before next rent is due on the 1st of June.

If at all possible I would prefer to remain on my own without having to resort to living with my parents or other family members. I would also be able to keep my cats.

The Final Fantasy 14 community has been such a blessing in my life. Not only did the game itself inspire me to push forward creatively, but everyone I have met along the way has also been a form of inspiration to me. At this time it's important to me to keep active with art and writing so I may find strength to move forward and continue to heal from this ordeal. Having your support through this hellscape means I'll be able to look forward instead of back and stay apart of this beautiful community that is FF14.
