My name is Richard and I am the captain of Claydon disability football team.

At present, we train once a week at our home football ground in Claydon, Ipswich.

However, with the weather getting colder, and also wetter, it is difficult to play on an open grass pitch, so we are aiming to raise some well needed funds to play at a local sports centre that has astro turf pitches, which are more weather appropriate during winter.

Having access and playing on these pitches will greatly improve performance amongst players and will therefore boost stamina during the colder months.

We rely on donations, sponsors and sometimes funds out of our own pocket to participate in tournaments and occasionally hosting friendly tournaments, so any donations are greatly received and always go to a good cause.
