Hi everyone. I'm diaverik, an artist who posts drawings and pictures online. If you have encountered any of my work, or if you are subcribed to my patreon-- know I really really appreciate it.

This is my second run on a GoFundMe, so please know I only come to you here because I really feel like I have no other way available for me.

The reasons I'm raising funds this time are two, and they are both very stressful and difficult deals.

Reason 1 - Housing:

Since the end of 2023 I've been renting space in a house with another person, splitting the rent. While the space is big, my stay here has not been easy. It's been very stressful. To make the long story short, the person I rent this place with is a stalker and has broken into my room multiple times- not to steal anything though, just to cause me distress and insecurity. (Pictures below are from a security camera that captured them) After many months of issues, this person has decided to leave this place... but the owner of this house won't let me find a new housemate: I either have to pay for this whole place myself (3k+) or else. I'm choosing to do 'else' and will need to find a new place to live. I have a job and responsibilities so I need to find a new place as soon as possible. Funds would go towards covering security deposit, moving expenses, and help with rent.

Reason 2 - Application fees, and expenses

I'm Ecuadorian but at the end of 2023 I managed to finalize court proceedings and was granted permission to live in the USA, where I've lived waiting for the case to be resolved since 2014. I had to wait for a full year before being able to apply for permanent residence, but now am preparing to apply. This procedure has fees, including medical, and I need legal counsel to apply with the best chances. The current situation can be concerning but I need to go through this process as soon as possible.

Hopes / Goals

This 2 issues are the biggest reasons I've been having such a hard time. My day work has been affected severely, I have a hard time sleeping, and sometimes can't eat at all. I've tried really hard to keep this all from affecting my art as well, but even that has been affected and over the last year I've been very unproductive, and worse so, unhappy with everything.

I know things are rough for everyone, and I don't mean to make anyone feel bad. I really appreciate *any* contribution, share, or even just kind words.
